Research

With a focus on quantum optics and photonics, Luqi Yuan's research interests encompass a wide range of theoretical physics topics in topological photonics, non-Hermitian optics, synthetic dimensions, and hybrid quantum systems. The interdisciplinary researches provide strong opportunities in applications from the overlap of science and engineering, such as light manipulation, quantum simulations, and optical communication.
